"What Is It???" Wednesday: Name that potato!

Our precious potato at National Council of Social Studies.
The office has a new mascot and we need your help!  Your mission: give our precious potato a Florida appropriate name.

You may remember meeting our first Indy* years back when we hosted the Project Archaeology bi-annual conference.  Conference organizers get possession of Indy for two years then pass him on to the next host.  The two years we had him we took him like a Flat Stanley to sites across Florida to promote archaeological awareness.  We also took him to classrooms, lectures, and festivals to help break the ice with students of all ages.  It was hard giving Indy up.

Indy the First at Olustee, Castillo San Marcos, and Crystal River.

Fast forward a few years, by kind donation we now have an Indy of our own help us continue the tradition!  Our new potato has already been to the Southeastern Archaeological Conference, National Council of Social Studies, and our recent home school Project Archaeology workshop at Ponce Inlet (even climbed the lighthouse!).  But being Florida focused we can no longer abide with the Indiana moniker (get your own Indiana!).  Also, the toy's official name is Idaho Jones (get your own Idaho!).

Florida Jones?  St. Aug-ratin? Spuds?  Why yes we do actually have a town named Spuds in our region.

WHAT IS IT???

REWARD: The person who nominates the name that is chosen will receive public recognition via Facebook (gallery forthcoming) and can pick one of ???'s pieces of flare as a prize.

*Actual full name of toy: HASBRO Playsckool Mr. Potato Head Indiana Jones Taters of the Lost Ark, Idaho Jones Spud
